I am a First Class Honours Software Engineering graduate from the University of Westminster / IIT Sri Lanka, with hands-on experience across internships, freelance delivery, and academic research.
At Vetstoria, I worked on cloud-native email workflows, Laravel migrations, and automation tooling. As a freelancer, I have built production systems for restaurant ordering, clinic management, event ticketing, and commerce - usually where the work needs both clear architecture and a refined user experience.

Full-Stack Developer (Freelance)
DUNC - weardunc.comDesigned and shipped a premium sports merchandise e-commerce platform in a 7-day sprint, from storefront to admin dashboard.
- Built a responsive storefront with micro-interactions and a type-safe checkout flow using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
- Developed a secure admin dashboard for inventory, orders, and operational visibility with Supabase and PostgreSQL.
- Implemented transactional email workflows with Resend and React Email, backed by Playwright E2E coverage.

Full-Stack Developer (Freelance)
CheddrDesigned and deployed a multi-tenant, QR-enabled restaurant ordering and management platform with real-time synchronization.
- Built the platform with Nest.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker for reliable deployment and maintainable service boundaries.
- Implemented WebSockets for sub-second order synchronization between customer menus and restaurant dashboards.
- Architected RBAC across superadmin, admin, and customer tiers to isolate privileges and tenant data.

National Hospital Plastic Surgery Unit
Engineered a clinic management system that replaced manual paper-based patient onboarding and clinical record workflows.
- Digitized and secured more than 1,000 patient records across onboarding, scheduling, and clinical history flows.
- Built the end-to-end architecture with Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Integrated automated WhatsApp notifications and surgery scheduling, saving roughly 6-8 hours of administrative work each week.

Software Engineering Intern
Vetstoria S.L. Private Limited
Built MVPs, automation tools, cloud workflows, and framework migrations for a production veterinary technology platform.
- Developed proof-of-concepts for the core PHP team to evaluate modern technologies inside the existing stack.
- Architected an AWS email workflow using SES, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3 for high-volume sending and documented the system design.
- Migrated legacy services to Laravel, improved maintainability, and created Python tooling for Bitbucket PR analysis.
